Jonathan Cecil's early career included flying jets with the
Royal Air Force at 18 and dynamiting avalanches in Switzerland at 21.
His design career spans book publishing (Penguin Books London), magazine publishing (Gourmet and Rendezvous magazines), creative director, graphic designer and copy writer with major international advertising agencies J. Walter Thompson. Foote Cone & Belding and USP Needham. Today, Jonathan has more than 45 catalogue awards to his credit including being an unprecedented 3 times winner of the prestigious Australian Catalogue of the Year. He owns The Design Store which designs catalogues, retail stores and websites for prestige clients such as Bally of Switzerland, MaxMara, Henry Bucks, Makers Mark, Giorgio Armani and Louis Féraud). Jonathan also owns and operates the on-line fine art gallery Artnet International.
